ACT

All students take the ACT test at least ONCE during their JUNIOR year. This test is sponsored by the state during the school week in March for FREE!
College-bound students are encouraged to take the ACT additional times during their Junior and Senior years by registering for a national testing date. Based on recent data, CHS students who took the ACT more than once increased their composite score on average by four points.
Colleges look at a combination of ACT scores and cumulative GPA to determine whether a student will be admitted, as well as for scholarship eligibility.
