Mental health significantly impacts student success, influencing academic performance, motivation, and overall well-being. CHS Counselors are here for our students. We help the school community by providing crisis and responsive counseling as needed, including:
Local case management
Student interventions (dropouts, bullying, etc.)
Student/parent/teacher mediation
IEP/504 or other academic referrals
Referrals to outside education agencies

SafeUT is a crisis chat and tip line that provides real-time crisis intervention for students, parents/guardians, and educators through live chat and a confidential tip line.

Intermountain Health Wellness & Prevention provides numerous resources to keep children and families safe. Please check out their website and especially their resources for emotional well-being. Tips for managing hard situations, stress, anxiety, and other topics are provided with supporting documents and videos.
ParentGuidance.org is an online service by licensed therapists that provides trusted and specialized courses, professional support and a safe community for parents to learn how to support their children and get answers to mental health questions.
