The IB Program is a two year curriculum for grades 11 through 12. Students strive to earn an IB diploma which is recognized by the top colleges and universities around the world. The IB diploma may help your student gain entrance and scholarships to the colleges and universities of their choice.
The full diploma curriculum includes required Jr and Sr. classes in the following six areas. Students may chose to study either an additional science, individuals and societies, or languages instead of the arts. Students take at least three, no more than four, subjects at the higher level (HL) and some at the standard level (SL).

In order for a student to qualify for an IB diploma students take the course Theory of Knowledge (TOK) which examines how we as individuals gain and acquire different types of knowledge. TOK covers the theories as to how your student will learn their knowledge in language arts, foreign languages, history/psychology, science, math, and art.
Students in the full IB diploma program also complete a research project called the Extended Essay. Your student selects their own topic, works under an assigned instructor/supervisor, and complete their own research paper. This is truly one of the best ways for your student to distinguish him or herself from other students apply for college admissions.
Finally, your student will also complete a CAS project that focuses on "Creativity", "Activity", and "Service", this is a project of their choice that relates to one of those areas.
