Latinos in Action! MAC invited all students, including the Black Student Union, and the Multicultural Club to come together to attend Salt Lake Community College's Multicultural Conference. While our students were there, they had the opportunity to attend multiple workshops, meet new people from all across the valley, and explore what college is like. They planned activities- our very own Jordan competed in a basketball activity!- and had workshops that the students could choose to attend. They ended they day with amazing empanadas for lunch!

The lottery for second semester parking passes is now open! Students who have no F's from 1st term and no outstanding U's are eligible to enter. Lottery will remain open through December 5th.

October's Teacher of the Month was Mr. Brumbaugh. He teaches Social Studies and is an advisor over Student Government. His numerous nominations from students mentioned how he keeps class engaging with his excellent story telling ability and how dedicated he is to Clearfield High. Thanks to our PTSA for partnering with us to acknowledge outstanding teachers at CHS!

Local food pantries are seeking donations to stock the shelves during this high-volume time of need. Assembly days provide so many exciting moments! Today, at the Sadies Assembly, our Falcettes wowed us with their energizing routine and their sky-high kicks and leaps! Three of our top-notch athletes were recognized for achieving Academic All State. Our theatre department gave a preview of their upcoming musical The Lightning Thief. You'll definitely want to purchase tickets to attend! It's so good! We were mesmerized by a beautiful piano solo during Falcons Got Talent. HOSA encouraged the audience to participate in the upcoming blood drive and save lives. Students were entertained with a variety of games, "Neverland Style" and we recognized our Sadies Royalty. Per Clearfield tradition, we ended the assembly by singing our school song and cheering our Falcon roll call!

Second semester schedule changes are available to be made and are FREE until DECEMBER 13TH. Stop by the counseling center before/after school, or during lunch.

Next week is Sadies Week! Dance tickets go on sale Monday, in the office before/after school and during lunch. Stop in during the week to purchase them at the discounted pre-sale price of $10.

Our school had the opportunity to host the annual SPED Halloween Dance again this year and it was "SPOOK"tacular! Big smiles were lighting the room just like a jack-o-lantern on Halloween! Coach Fox helped prepare our students by teaching them line dances so they could participate with confidence! Our SPED department and SBO"s outdid themselves creating and preparing for such an amazing event!

The Fall Art Gallery will be on display in the library this week through Monday, November 3rd. Students are welcome to tour the gallery during lunch. QR codes are placed around the gallery for students to vote for their favorite artwork. Voting will close at 2:30pm on Thursday, October, 30th. The School Choice Awards will be announced later that evening during the gallery reception from 6:00-7:00 pm, which all are invited to attend. Saturday, the CHS Speech and Debate team competed at Titan Terror at Syracuse High School. Our students were very successful in their respective categories! Congratulations to Lincoln, Connor, Raya, Chloe, Wyatt, Paige, Jet, Emma, Emmi, Danica, Brayden, Cece, Mason, Cache, Karina, and Gia! Way to represent our school!

Falcons will be soaring with spirit today as we cheer on our football and volleyball teams at their state playoff games! Deck out in GREEN and come ready to make some noise!

Ms. Campa's math class used their knowledge of triangles to solve superhero-themed math problems. Our teachers are consistently creating opportunities for students to feel empowered and knowledgeable as they tackle challenging problems and progress in their learning.
